The Barcelona Knowledge Hub, together with the United Nations University Institute on Globalization, Culture and Mobility (UNU-GCM), is organising a modern-day  Disputatio which will be focused on “The Mediterranean, bridge of cultures”,  with the participation of Maria Paradiso and Enric Banda, who will present their views on this topic.

Maria Paradiso is Full Professor of Geography and Planning at the University of Sannio, Italy, and Member of the Academia Europaea. She will speak on “The Mediterranean: Bridging, bordering, cross-bordering in a global mobile reality”.

Enric Banda is Director of Science and Environment at the “La Caixa” Foundation, Barcelona, and Member of the Earth and Cosmic Sciences Section of the Academia Europaea. He will speak on “Science as a Mediterranean bridge”.

 

The event will take place on Thursday 27th of November, 19 h, in the Francesc Cambó Room at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site in Barcelona.

 

Attendance is free, but registration is required.
