WroclawSeminarsThe Wroclaw Knowledge Hub of the Academia Europaea is organising the Wroclaw Seminars, three symposia that aim at relocating Central Europe in international humanities research by focusing on international communication networks since Gutenberg. Special attention will be given to the role of communication technologies and their consequences for the dissemination of knowledge, and the objective is to pinpoint places in Central Europe in these knowledge networks, both on a European scale and globally during the period of European expansion.

Under the title ‘Early modern print culture in Central Europe’, the fist symposium will take place at the University of Wroclaw on 16–18 September 2013.
